Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing [MEP] BIM Coordination helps solve the ever-present issue of how to fit all the systems needed for your building to function properly behind its form. The function of your building will inform the design of the spaces within them, and MEP BIM Coordination is needed to make sure the design can realistically deliver the spaces you want to create.

The process of MEP BIM Coordination also allows for accurate planning of instillation of the systems. Clash detection software is used to make sure that the physical properties of the system do not conflict with the structure, architectural elements, and other systems – ensuring the design has been vetted and installation of the system can happen without impacting the elements around it.

Agon was founded in 2013 by Micah Childs, Chris Stailey, and Jacob Mashburn in response to the growing need for BIM coordination services. Their paths crossed while working on the coordination effort for the renovation to Madison Square Garden in the winter of 2010.

From the forge, Micah – Chris – Jacob, developed a strong rapport with clientele by solving major issues with integrity behind the handshake. Micah’s extensive experience in MEP fields, Chris’ detail oriented vision, and Jacob’s ability to collaborate well with others brought together a trio that would soon create Agon.

Through strong work ethic and team work, they developed a tight bond and a reputation for adding quality and value to the coordination process. Quality Coordination by people who know the systems.
